🚨Important Update: Introducing Online Triage Starting 1st August

From 1st August, as part of the Online Triage system, we are implementing this process partially for all query requests. As part of this transition:

Ø The Query Line will be permanently closed (exemption for housebound and vulnerable patients).

Ø All prescription, referral, sick note, letter-related queries, and administrative queries must be submitted via the NHS website/Accurx.

Future rollout: from 1st October, all appointments need to be requested via the website as medical requests.

Doctor's Appointment will no longer be offered at 8Am or 3Pm through telephone, Please submit a query through the website and you will be offered an appointment.

  

Note: If you’re unable to use online service, don’t worry – our team will be happy to assist you.

Travel Vaccination

Our nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange the appropriate immunisations. Please download and complete the travel form, then send it to Causewaygreenroad.surgery@nhs.net  minimum 6 week's before your travel date. Vaccines need time to take effect, and some may require a course spread over several weeks.

Travel Vaccine Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will advise you to visit a pharmacy who can provide travel vaccinations.

Important Information

Pharmacy Notes:

  • Pharmacies will charge for all travel vaccines. Please enquire directly with your chosen pharmacy about costs.

GP Practice:

  • We will issue the prescription, which you will pay for the prescription.
  • Once the prescription has been collected, we will book an appointment with the nurse, who will administer the travel vaccines free of charge.

Please Note:

  • We do not provide Yellow Fever vaccinations.
  • We do not prescribe malaria medication. For both services, please enquire with the pharmacies who provide travel vaccination.
